2015 is the year that Northwood Christian Church added the unofficial title of "Northwood Center for Faith & Community", we felt this was an appropriate title moving forward in our mission of being "In the neighborhood, for the neighborhood".
Northwood Center for Faith & Community is currently home to several other church's, in addition we housed Parkview Cooperative Preschool for 51 years prior to their move to a new location at the end of the 2016 school year. We are home to four independent artist studios, a yoga studio, an AA group and now Apogee School for the Gifted & HOMEschool Away from HOME. 2016 also brought the offices of Meridian-Kessler Neighborhood Association to call Northwood home.
You would think with ALL this what more could we fit in? How about a commercial kitchen! Northwood proudly host several independent small food businesses who's products can be found from the Broad Ripple Farmers Market to a food truck near you! (most food vendors will also cater your special events)
So, if you're looking for meeting space, a place to hold your next birthday/anniversary party or you are looking for affordable space to rent, please contact us at 317-283-1352, we might be able to help.
Here is a listing of those that Northwood shares space with:

Somethin' Sweet/Keme Henderson: Greetings! My name is Keme Henderson and I was born and raised in Indianapolis. I developed my passion for baking while sitting for hours and watching my Godmother, Rosie Nell Wilson, bake. Soon I began experimenting with my own recipes. My two favorite things to make were cookies and cheesecakes.
After receiving my Masters in social work and many years of family and friends encouraging me to sell my baked goods, it would take a good friend to convince me to go into business. So in May of 2011, with my family, friends and supporters alongside, I became an entrepreneur doing what I love to do, baking "Somethin' Sweet". Somethin' Sweet provides a wide assortment of gourmet cookies, cookie cupcakes, cheesecakes, and cheesecake cupcakes. I have taken some of your favorite cookies, cakes, and pie flavors and put them into cookies or cheesecakes. While I remain the head confectioner and operator, my family and friends work close by assisting me with large events and deliveries. After more than five years of business, Somethin' Sweet is the sweet love of my life. (For more information - click header to be taken to our website)
